Please be advised that as of 1 July 2015 the AMIEU Queensland Branch will be increasing its membership dues by the CPI for the city of Brisbane (1.3%). This increase is in line with the resolution passed at the 2004 Branch Committee of Management meeting.
This increase means that members paying by payroll deduction will now be paying $8.45 per week. Members paying by direct debit will receive a discount of 3% and their dues will rise to $8.20 per week.
As you can see this rise is minimal and the AMIEU is still the best value for meatworkers looking to get the best protection available from the Union with the most experience.
