Members do not need to be fearful about security of your bank details – your details are secure.
So the AMIEU says to its members this:
DIRECT DEBIT FACTS
- Direct Debit allows members to pay their membership directly from their bank accounts
- Direct Debit is a system that allows your Union membership to be controlled by you – not your employer.
- Direct Debit is cheaper than PRD and allows your Union membership to remain anonymous to your employer.
- Direct Debit also has the flexibilty of several payment options.
ENSURE YOU HAVE SIGNED OVER TO DIRECT DEBITS!
REMEMBER: You can’t ring an insurance company the day after your house burns down and ask for help – the same applies to Union assistance.
WE CANNOT HELP NON-MEMBERS AND/OR MEMBERS WHO HAVE STOPPED PAYING THEIR DUES.
THE AMIEU WILL ONLY ASSIST MEMBERS WHO ARE FULLY FINANCIAL – BECAUSE THEY ARE THE UNION!
