Dear ACC members,
As you are aware, ACC left the EBA bargaining table in mid-June 2025. The AMIEU committee did not support those negotiations ending. There remain some significant claims that our members deserve to have resolved.
The remaining AMIEU claims are all about closing loopholes in your current EBA and creating guardrails for fairer workloads and fairer wages & penalties.
The Company indicated they would have their proposal drafted within 2 to 3 weeks of them breaking from the talks before putting the proposal forward for a vote. This did not occur.
The delay by ACC appears, in part, to have been caused by the company choosing to test their offer with individuals and small groups of employees and pushing for support for the company proposal by making some changes to their position.
We have been contacted by members who are confused by the Company offer and frankly, because ACC have not yet shared their final proposal, so are we.
The Company has scheduled a meeting to share their final proposed EBA this Wednesday, 23/7/25.
We will provide a further update once that document has been reviewed.
In Solidarity,
Jimmy Cottrell-Dormer
Assistant Branch Secretary
